Saint Denis of Paris (San Dionisio de Paris)

Patron Saint of Barrio San Dionisio, Parañaque City, National Capital Region, Philippines

This is the only (if not, one of the few) Barrios in the Philippines who invoke him as Patron. According to the people of the Parañaque ViejoTata Dune (the locals’ nickname for San Dionisio) is a miraculous saint, especially well known for helping the sick. His visita (or chapel) was built during the Spanish Regime, and both the exterior and the interior of the chapel are still preserved up to the present.

I myself experienced his help several times already, whenever I experience some bodily pain/discomfort.

He is also one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers and he is one of the Patron Saints of Paris, France.

San Dionisio de Paris, ruega por nosotros!
