Filipinos,remember that we may not really speak the Spanish language but,we are still a part of Hispanidad..it is not only language which is important here,but also the culture,religion,traditions,influences..sadly,it seems that we associate more with USA(sorry Fil-Ams!!)which,were a bit farther(one proof:they’re primarily Protestants,our brothers and sisters in Hispanidad are Catholics—though sadly,some are becoming Protestant(e.g.Central America);Atheistic/Islamic?!(SPAIN?!)..);therefore,we’re not only Asians,but Hispanics as well!!
We’ve got the best of both worlds….
